ABOUT
SEE ME NEURODIVERSE
Learn about our mission, values, and how we got started.
OUR STORY.
See Me: Unlocking Resources for the Neurodiverse (aka See Me Neurodiverse) was founded by two moms who met through their journeys in the Neurodiverse world.
Both moms experienced many barriers to finding the support and care they needed when their children were displaying emotional/social/behavioral concerns. The barriers faced contributed to delayed diagnosis, prolonged and progressive struggles, and eventually to emotional and spiritual exhaustion felt by the families.
Many of these barriers could have been reduced or eliminated through knowledge, understanding, and connections.
See Me was created to help reduce these barriers and provide a wealth of resources available for families who are struggling. Being neurodivergent and/or raising a neurodivergent child is difficult enough on its own, finding help and resources should not add to the daily struggles. Let us join your village and unlock resources for you and your family.
OUR MISSION.
See Me: Unlocking Resources for the Neurodiverse is a non-profit organization developed to support the neurodiverse and their families by increasing connections and offering support through:
-
community events
-
support meetings
-
providing resources
-
assistance for families in crisis

We strive to educate and bring awareness about neurodiversity to our communities and beyond, working towards making our world a more inclusive and welcoming space.
OUR VALUES.
Community
We believe it takes a village to thrive as a neurodivergent individual and/or a neurodiverse family. Our organization aims to join your village and unlock resources from the beginning of one’s journey of testing/diagnosis, exploring and locating different treatment modalities, and finding community support.

Empowerment
It’s our goal to help increase your understanding, confidence, and self-efficacy as a neurodivergent individual, caretaker, parent, or advocate.

Compassion
We are passionate about decreasing the stigmas that can come with having a mental health diagnosis. This is done through community engagement, connections, and education.
OUR FOCUS.
To break it down, our main focus is on support, connection, and education. Learn more about what we do in each of these focus areas.
Many of us have been through it before, so we’re able to help guide you through getting a neuropsych evaluation, services with the county, working with schools on IEP and 504 plans, and more. We offer peer support meetings for parents and caregivers and meet 1-on-1 with families who need additional support.
SUPPORT & RESOURCES
We strive to educate and bring awareness and acceptance about neurodivergence to our communities and beyond, working towards making our world a more inclusive and welcoming space. We participate in community events, advocate for inclusion, and provide educational resources to the community.
