About the event
Join See Me Neurodiverse for a special author event with Tiffany Hammond, New York Times bestselling author, speaker, and disability advocate!
Tiffany will share a reading from her powerful picture book, A Day with No Words, followed by a talk and book signing. This beautifully written story invites readers into the life of an autistic child and his family, highlighting the many ways people communicate, connect, and belong—even without spoken words. Books will be available for purchase.
Tiffany's work centers the voices of autistic people and celebrates all forms of communication. She is the author of A Day With No Words and the upcoming How Do You Spell Belong (2027). Tiffany is also the founder of Fidgets and Fries, where she shares stories of advocacy, identity, and raising her two autistic sons.
A Day with No Words highlights the bond between mother and child and follows them on a day where they use a tablet to communicate with others. A Day With No Words successfully normalizes communication methods outside of verbal speech and provides representation of neurodiversity and autism in a way that affirms and celebrates.
This event is open to everyone—families, educators, and community members alike. Come listen, learn, and celebrate the many ways we all express ourselves.
